Run for the Wall ambassador to speak to NIC Booster Club

Dave Palmer, former college soccer official and State Director of Instruction for Idaho soccer referees

Dave Palmer, former college soccer official and State Director of Instruction for Idaho soccer referees, will be the speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.

In addition to his insight into the world of soccer, Palmer will give a presentation on the Run for the Wall mission. RFTW is a motorcycle experience where war veterans and supporters make a journey across the country to the Veteran Memorial in Washington, DC. Run for the Wall recognizes the sacrifices and contributions made by all veterans who have served our nation. The mission of RFTW is to promote healing among all veterans and their families and friends, to call for an accounting of all Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action (POW/MIA), to honor the memory of those Killed in Action (KIA) from all wars, and to support USA military personnel all over the world.

Palmer is son of a World War II Air Force Colonel, and he has served as the President/CEO of Data Acquisition Labs Inc. (DAL Computers) in Hayden for the past 35 years. Palmer has a degree in Chemical Engineering and also serves as a youth pastor and the camp director for Church Summer Super Camps (300 teenagers, 60 staff). He is currently a member of the Marriage and Family Ministry team at Real Life Ministries.

The NIC Booster Club meets twice a month, on the second and last Tuesday of each month. The special NIC Booster Club lunch menu is $10 or less and the public is welcome to attend the luncheon. NIC coaches will provide updates on recruiting, season sports, and upcoming athletic tournaments and athletic department events.
