NIC offers $500 scholarship at Prof-Tech Open House Feb. 24

Prospective students will have the opportunity to visit classrooms and lab facilities at the North Idaho College Professional-Technical Open House from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Hedlund Building on the main campus (near the corner of Hubbard Street and Rosenberry Drive).

There will be program representatives available at the open house from Trades and Industry, Business and Professional programs, Health Professions, Hospitality, Outdoor Leadership, and Aerospace. Faculty members and advisors will be on hand to speak about program entrance requirements, coursework and career opportunities and outlook.

There will also be a $500 scholarship drawing for those in attendance.

“This is a great chance to learn if a new career is right for you,” said Teresa Borrenpohl, NIC enrollment coordinator. “Prospective students can bring their families and receive detailed information as they explore lab spaces and classrooms that are not always open for touring.”
