Women leaders to be recognized at NIC's Day of Dialogue

The public is invited to attend the Day of Dialogue “Breaking Through! Imagine. Define. Act.” hosted by North Idaho College from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the Edminster Student Union Building. This year, the event will feature keynote speaker Pam Thompson, director of Social Services at Kootenai Health, and a panel of local female leaders.

“Pam is a dynamic speaker who generates excitement by sharing her experiences in overcoming challenges in reaching her goals,” said event organizer Tracy Struble. “Day of Dialogue is a great venue to learn about local resources and ways in which to empower other women in our area.”

Panelists for this year Day of Dialogue include Jamie Lynn Morgan, co-owner of Rubber Tire Adventures, brand ambassador, and online marketing specialist; Kerri Thoreson, Post Falls city councilor, writer/columnist; Ali Shute, executive director of Coeur d' Alene Arts and Culture Alliance; and Barbara Mueller, Gizmo executive director.

The event is free and open to the public with refreshments provided.
