NIC to hold auditions for ‘Dead Man's Cell Phone' Jan. 31, Feb. 1

The North Idaho College Theatre Department is holding open auditions for the play “Dead Man’s Cell Phone” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 and Wednesday, Feb. 1 in the Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center on NIC’s main campus.

There are openings for four females and two males. Production dates are April 13-15 and April 20-22. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

“Dead Man’s Cell Phone” explores the complex, frustrating, and often funny ways that people attempt to forge connections in life. It makes us ask, “How much do I really know about the person sitting next to me?” and more importantly, “How much do I really want to know?”

The play contains mature language and themes as well as a kiss between two of the characters.
