Local historian to speak to ‘Winner's Circle' at NIC

Local historian Robert Singletary will be the guest lecturer at the “Winner’s Circle” motivational meeting from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 6, at North Idaho College Edminster Student Union Building Lake Coeur d’Alene Room. There is an optional breakfast available for sale in the building.

Singletary will lecture on “The Art of Thriving: An integrated approach to creating balance and success in the basic elements of life.” Singletary is the Program and Marketing director for the Museum of North Idaho as well as the in-resident historian for the museum. He also serves as the chairman for the Kootenai County Historic Commission and has served as a trustee for the Idaho State Historical Society for many years. He taught for more than 30 years at NIC, Lewis-Clark State College and the University of Idaho. Singletary has a new book on the history of Coeur d’Alene, which will be published by the Museum of North Idaho this spring.
