NIC hosting ‘Ladies Night' at Parker Technical Education Center

North Idaho College is inviting women to learn more about career opportunities in traditionally male-dominated fields during Career and Technical Education “Ladies Night” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 at the Parker Technical Education Center.

NIC faculty, staff and students will be on-hand to answer questions about training in the following programs:

Aerospace Technology

Automotive Technology

Carpentry and Construction Technology

Collision Repair Technology

Diesel Technology

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration (HVAC)

Industrial Mechanic/Millwright

Machining and CNC Technology

Welding Technology

Law Enforcement

Healthcare Computer Technician

Computer Information Technology

Graphic Design

Attendants will have the chance to win a $1,000 scholarship provided by the NIC Foundation, along with additional prizes and giveaways.

The event is free and will be held at the new NIC Parker Technical Education Center at 7064 W. Lancaster Road in Rathdrum.
