NIC's Day of Dialogue to address ‘unSpoken Strengths' March 16
The public is invited to attend the fourth annual Day of Dialogue with this year’s theme focusing on “UnSpoken Strengths.” This event is hosted by North Idaho College from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in the Edminster Student Union Building Lake Coeur d’Alene Room. This year, the event will feature keynote speaker Lita Burns, NIC vice president for instruction, and a panel of local female leaders.
“The Day of Dialogue is a great venue to learn about leadership, gender communication and celebrate women leaders in our community during the Woman of the Year Awards,” said NIC Day of Dialogue event coordinator Tracy Struble.
Panelists for this year’s Day of Dialogue event include Christine Johnson, chancellor of Community Colleges of Spokane, where she leads a district that spans six counties in Washington; Jessica Bauman, the owner of Express Employment Professionals where she has earned numerous awards for her work matching people’s careers with their passions; Katie McIntire, a welding instructor at the Kootenai Technical Education Campus; and Lindy Lewis, an authenticity speaker, author and health coach.
The event is free and open to the public with lunch provided.
