Former NFL, Boise State great to speak at Booster Luncheon

Daryn Colledge, a former Boise State football standout and NFL Superbowl Champion with the Green Bay Packers, will be the guest speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon Tuesday, April 25, at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.

Colledge enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard at the conclusion of his NFL career to give back to his country, and is now a spokesman for National Guard. Colledge, originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, was selected in the second round by the Green Bay Packers and won Super Bowl XLV with them over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Colledge was a four year starter at Boise State, as an offensive lineman under head coach Dan Hawkins, and was a two-time All-WAC selection in 2004 and 2005.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The NIC Booster Club will host one final luncheon on May 9 at Outback Steakhouse and suspend the luncheons for the summer until Aug. 29.
