NCAA PAC 12 football referee to speak at Booster Luncheon

Steve Hudson, owner of Idaho icon Hudson's Hamburgers, will be the guest speaker at the NIC Booster Club luncheon at noon Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Hudson has officiated football in the PAC 10/12 for 21 years, and has worked 18 bowl games including this year's Fiesta Bowl between Clemson University and Ohio State University. Prior to his tenure in the PAC 10/12, he worked in the Big Sky Conference. Hudson is a member of the North Idaho Official's Association Hall of Fame and is a current nominee for the Idaho Activities Association Hall of Fame.

Hudson currently gives back to high school officiating as a mentor for District 1 football. In addition, he and his family have been supporters of North Idaho College and NIC Athletics for many years.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of each month at noon at various locations in the community. Check out the NIC athletics department website for more details at or contact the NIC athletics office at (208) 769-3348.
