NIC trustees to interview appointee candidates Jan. 4

The NIC Board of Trustees will conduct interviews for the prospective appointee candidates for Trustee Zone 4 at a special board meeting Thursday, Jan. 4, from 1:45 to 3:30 p.m. in the Edminster Student Union Building Driftwood Bay Room.

Longtime trustee Judy Meyer’s resignation will be effective Jan. 31, 2018. Letters of interest from potential trustees residing in Meyer’s zone were solicited with four eligible applicants from Trustee Zone 4 submitting letters:

Cynthia Elliot – Hayden

Joe Dunlap – Coeur d’Alene

James Kimball – Coeur d’Alene

Russell McLain – Coeur d’Alene

In accordance with Idaho Statute 33-2106, the candidate appointed by the NIC Board of Trustees will serve until the Nov. 6, 2018, election. The term for the individual elected at that time will end in 2020.
