NIC Foundation launches 25th Anniversary Really BIG Raffle

This is the 25th year North Idaho College Foundation’s Really BIG Raffle will make someone’s dream come true -- winning a house built by the NIC Carpentry program. The grand prize home is currently under construction in Greenstone Homes’ North Place neighborhood at 551 E Penrose in Post Falls.

“We are grateful to the community for the ongoing and generous support of our Raffle fundraiser, which creates opportunities for students college wide,” said NIC Foundation Executive Director Rayelle Anderson. “We’ve sold out for 24 years in a row, and we’re anticipating another early sell out for the silver anniversary of our Really BIG Raffle.”

Community members can try their luck for a chance to win this brand new $300,000-home as well as $20,000, $10,000, $3,500 and $2,000 prizes of choice. Only 5,500 raffle tickets will be sold prior to the July 18 drawing at $100 each. Early ticket purchasers can also qualify for two additional $1,000 Costco Gift Card prizes.

In celebration of the silver anniversary, this year’s grand prize home will be loaded with upgrades including Viatera quartz countertops, upgraded contemporary styled cabinetry, a gas fireplace with built-in shelving, skylights, and a large covered patio. The floor plan is a 2003 square foot single-level three-bedroom, two-bath with an oversized three-car garage.

Tickets can be purchased now at North Idaho outlets including Super 1 Foods, Yoke’s in Post Falls, Stein’s Family Foods, BMC, Buck Knives, the NIC Workforce Training Center and the NIC Foundation Office. Idaho residents can also order by phone or online, and nonresidents should visit an outlet to purchase tickets.

This year’s raffle is sponsored in part by Title sponsors BMC and Greenstone Homes and numerous other sponsors. All proceeds support student success and educational excellence at North Idaho College.
