NIC, KTEC students earn gold and more at SkillsUSA

Students from North Idaho College and Kootenai Technical Education Campus took home medals in the SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference held in Nampa, Idaho, recently.

Nathan Calkins, from KTEC, won a Gold Medal in the Collision Repair competition.

Joe Esteph, from NIC, won a Silver Medal in the HVAC competition.

Jordan Blood, from NIC, won a Silver Medal in the Collision Repair competition.

Ken Anderson, from NIC, won a Bronze Medal in the HVAC competition.

Coleton Kazmierczak, from KTEC, won a Bronze Medal in the Collision Repair competition.

With his Gold Medal, Calkins has earned a trip to the SkillsUSA nationals in Louisville, Ky., June 25-29.
