NIC presents performance of Utah Repertory Dance Theatre

The public will have the chance to experience the foundations of modern dance during a performance by the Utah Repertory Dance Theatre at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at North Idaho College. The Utah Repertory Dance Theatre was founded in 1966 as a professional modern dance repertory company dedication to the creation, performance, perpetuation and performance of dance. The organization considers itself an active museum of modern dance, fostering an appreciation of dance through performances of more than 340 pieces created by more than 100 choreographers as well as classes, workshops and activities provided to communities nationwide. The NIC Student Events Board is sponsoring the performance, which was made possible by a grand from the Holmberg Trust. The event will be held in Boswell Hall Schuler Auditorium on NIC's main campus.
