NIC Idaho SBDC director earns state award

Idaho Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Regional Director John Lynn was recently selected as the recipient of a statewide award from the Association of Small Business Development Centers. Lynn received the State Star Award, which is presented annually to a SBDC employee in each state who is committed to small businesses, has exhibited exemplary performance and made a significant contribution at the state or regional level. The award was presented at the Association of Small Business Development Centers annual conference in New Orleans. Lynn has served in his current position at the Idaho SBDC for the past 10 years. The North Idaho College Idaho SBDC serves the five northern counties of Idaho, providing one-on-one confidential consulting and training programs to small businesses. The center provides consulting services to more than 250 small business owners per year and annually sponsors more than 50 workshops and trainings through the NIC Workforce Training Center in Post Falls.
