NIC career workshop helps participants design careers

North Idaho College's Career Services will help match participants' skills to ideal careers during career workshops in December. The “Design Your Ideal Career” workshops will help match individuals with the career best suited for them. Using the Micro-SKILLS program, individuals will select the skills they would most like to use in a job and the program will match them with a career suited to those skills. A group interpretation will be included in the assessment. One-on-one time with career counselors can be scheduled afterward if desired. The following December workshops will be held in the Blue Creek Bay Room on the upper level of NIC's Edminster Student Union Building: 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 The cost is $10 and participants must reserve a spot by calling NIC Career Services at (208) 769-3297.
