NIC officials to present during national community colleges convention

North Idaho College officials were recently invited to present a seminar on Customized Training Opportunities in China during the national American Association of Community Colleges national convention. President Michael Burke, Assistant Vice President for Instruction Robert Ketchum and Customized Training Director Vern Jenkins will lead the seminar, covering the college's current customized training contracts with businesses in China and the benefits of international business as an economic development strategy. With 1,153 members, AACC membership represents close to 95 percent of all accredited U.S. two-year community, junior and technical colleges and their 10.5 million students. The 85th annual convention will be April 9-12 in Boston with representation from 87 percent of the nation's community colleges.
