NIC music department to present faculty recital

The North Idaho College music department will present its Faculty Music Recital at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27 in Boswell Hall Schuler Auditorium. NIC music instructors will perform a variety of pieces including Mozart's “Adagio in E Major,” Chick Corea's “Crystal Silence” and “Discretion,” an original piece composed by NIC Music Instructor Gerard Mathes. The recital will showcase the various talents of the NIC music department, including featured performers Mathes on violin, Krista Puller on harp, Travis Silvers and Paul Grove on guitar, Rhonda Bradetich and Amelia Dallen on flute, Tom Kelly and Kristina Phillips on piano, Karl Meister on bass, Jack Joseph Sandberg and Jim Phillips on trumpet, Miguel Cortez on percussion, Abe Kellmer on hand drum and vocals by Jamie Garcia, Anna Maryot, Lindsey Davis, Tatiana Horton, Nelly Bell, Lorraine Bourget, Daniel Jaklich, Levi Ross and Kevin Nelson.
