Spokane athlete accepts softball scholarship to NIC


University High School athlete Angie Boardman, of Spokane, recently signed a letter of intent to play softball at North Idaho College. Boardman was Greater Spokane League honorable mention infielder her sophomore year at University High School and was the starting second baseman for the 2003 state championship team. She earned the honor of GSL First Team Infielder her junior year and tied for the league lead in doubles and RBIs in 2004. She was also second in the GSL in runs and was team defensive MVP her junior year. Boardman plans to play for the NIC Cardinal team during the 2005-2006 season.
