North Idaho College students will have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork during the juried Student Art Show April 11 through May 5 in the Boswell Hall Corner Gallery.

 

“This is a great opportunity for our students to exhibit the pieces they've created throughout the year and to experience the last cycle of the artistic process,” said NIC Boswell Hall Corner Gallery Coordinator and art instructor Allie Vogt.

 

The Student Art Show will feature a variety of original works created by students in their art classes. Disciplines include drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, graphic design, illustration and two- and three-dimensional design work.

 

The show will be juried by a guest artist for awards.

 

The opening reception for the show will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 11 in the gallery. The Corner Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission to the gallery is free.
