The North Idaho College Theater Department will present its spring production of Private Eyes in a special dinner theater-style format April 21-23 at NIC. 

 

Private Eyes is a Steven Dietz comedy of suspicion where nothing is quite what it seems, according to NIC Theater Director Joe Jacoby who will be directing the play.

 

“The play is funny, evocative and filled with surprises,” Jacoby said. “Coupled with a fabulous dinner, this event will not disappoint.”

 

Attendees will enjoy dinner prepared by NIC Food Services while watching the theater production, which begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Lake Coeur d'Alene Room of NIC's Edminster Student Union Building.

 

The cast includes Alyssa Calder of Coeur d'Alene, Jordan Gookin of Coeur d'Alene, community member Steve Hammond, who is also an NIC tutor, Tony Parks of Coeur d'Alene and Sandy Pelletti of Rathdrum.

 

The play is recommended for adult audiences due to adult themes and language.

 

Tickets are $25 each or $20 for students who purchase them by Friday, April 15. Tickets must be purchased by 4 p.m. the day of the show through the NIC TicketQuick Box Office inside Boswell Hall or by calling (208) 769-7780. NIC Gold Cards will not be accepted in order to pay for the cost of dinner.

 

Proceeds benefit future projects for NIC theater students.
