Basketball players are encouraged to register their five-player team for the North Idaho College Five-On-Five Classic Basketball Tournament to be held in NIC's Christianson Gym July 15-17.

The tournament will include men's and women's divisions as well as divisions for high school boys and high school girls.

Teams are guaranteed to play at least three games, which will be officiated by certified officials.

Prizes include $1,000 for first place, $500 for second and $260 for third. Players of amateur status are welcome and will be eligible for other prizes.

The entry fee is $260 per team and must be received by July 11. Space is limited.

Registration forms are available in the NIC Athletics Office inside Christianson Gym on NIC's main campus.

Proceeds of the event will benefit NIC men's basketball.
