Ironman finisher to speak at NIC Booster Club lunch

Brenda Smith, a triathlete who successfully finished the Coeur d'Alene Ironman Triathlon in 2004, will be the featured speaker at the North Idaho College Booster Club luncheon at noon Tuesday, June 28 at Tony's Supper Club, located on Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive in Bennett Bay.

Smith, the Human Resources director at NIC, plans to participate in this year's Ironman and will be talking about the Ironman experience, what it takes to be an Ironman and how anyone can achieve a goal of this magnitude.

The NIC Booster Club holds its regular weekly meetings Tuesdays at noon in the Coeur d'Alene Resort's Shore Lounge. The meeting is held at a different location on the last Tuesday of the month and typically features a guest speaker.

The public is welcome to attend any of the weekly meetings.
