NIC's Outdoor Pursuits to offer sailing clinics

North Idaho College's Outdoor Pursuits will offer a series of clinics in July to teach participants how to sail.

The Thursday night clinics for adults will run in four sessions on the NIC beach. Clinics will be offered from 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 7, 14, 21 and 28. $40 covers the cost of instruction, boats and all related equipment.

In addition, a separate set of sailing clinics will be offered specifically for youths. The clinics will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays July 9, 16, 23 and 30 on the NIC beach. Cost is $40.

No experience is necessary. Space is limited so sign up early to reserve a spot.
