NIC Foundation's Really BIG Raffle drawing to be held July 6

Community members and all ticket holders in the 12th annual North Idaho College Foundation Really BIG Raffle are invited to attend the raffle drawing at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 in Fort Sherman Park, located behind Edminster Student Union Building on NIC's main campus.

The event will include the drawing for the $200,000 grand prize house, first prize $20,000 car or boat, second prize $3,500 travel package, third prize $2,000 shopping spree or early bird prizes (a 32-inch color TV and a DVD/VHS player).

NIC Carpentry Instructor Dave McRae will provide live music at the event as a member of the band Side Track.

The event will also include food and beverages available for purchase and drawings for various door prize giveaways, including a literal “door prize,” a $550 single-entry door with two vertical glass insets from Stock Building Supply of Coeur d'Alene. For the sixth consecutive year, Stock Building Supply sponsored the Really BIG Raffle, providing a $10,000 discount on building materials used in the construction of the house.

Ticket holders need not be present to win the $200,000 grand prize house, first prize $20,000 car or boat, second prize $3,500 travel package, third prize $2,000 shopping spree or the early bird prizes. Winners who are not present will receive a phone call that evening.

Ticket holders must bring the bonus prize ticket stub, which is on the end of each raffle ticket stub, to the event to enter to win this year's $500 cash bonus prize.

Entry for door prizes and the bonus prize begins at 6 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit in during the event.
