Silver Valley classes still open for enrollment


Several North Idaho College distance education courses are still open for enrollment in the Silver Valley.

Intro to World Processing, a one-credit class, will be taught from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursdays at the Silver Valley Center.

The following courses will be broadcast to the Silver Valley from NIC's main campus through the use of interactive video conferencing technology.

Infancy/Mid-Child Development, a three-credit class, will be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays at Kellogg High School.

Intro to Speech Communications, a three-credit class, is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Silver Valley Center.

American National Government, a three-credit course, is available from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays at the Silver Valley Center.

Two sections of Intro to Psychology, three-credit courses, will be offered in the Silver Valley this fall. Each section will be from 1:30 to 2:20 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. One will be offered at Wallace High School and the other section will be at Kellogg High School.

Two sections of Intro to Sociology, three-credit courses, will be offered at Kellogg High School and Wallace High School. Both will be from 1:30 to 2:20 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

There is still time to enroll in these courses as well as other classes available in Kellogg and Wallace. Fall semester begins Aug. 29.
