NIC presents outdoor adventure film

North Idaho College's Outdoor Pursuits program is presenting the outdoor adventure film Booter Crunk at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10 in NIC's Boswell Hall Schuler Auditorium.

The film takes the viewer through the exposed mountains of Europe, Alaska, Tahoe, Utah and Oregon.

The filmmaker Rage Films, based in Bend, Ore., worked on more than 50 backcountry jumps, urban handrails and skate parks to complete the extreme jumps and rides shown in the film.

Several of the riders from the film will be at the event, signing autographs for audience members. Film sponsor Arc'teryx, a retailer of outdoor sports gear, will present giveaways to the audience.

Tickets are $7 and are available from the Outdoor Pursuits Office, located on the lower level of NIC's Edminster Student Union Building. NIC students will receive a discount.
