NIC men's soccer team get votes in both NJCAA and NSCAA polls

The North Idaho College men's soccer team (11-1-3 overall, 5-0-1 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference) continues to be ranked in the top 20 in the nation for the third week in a row in both the National Junior College Athletic Association and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America polls released today.
The top three spots remain unchanged in both polls with Mercer County Community College in Trenton, N.J., ranked No. 1 followed by Louisburg College in Louisburg, N.C., and Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz.
NIC travels to Salt Lake City this weekend to play Colorado Mountain College on Oct. 29 for the Region 18 Championship. This will be the third match up between the teams with the Cardinals winning the first two by scores of 6-2 and 2-1.
The winner will travel to Arizona to play the District 1 champion on Nov. 5 for a spot in the NJCAA National Tournament in Tyler, Texas.
