NIC volleyball player named to NJCAA team

|photo1|North Idaho College volleyball player Collese Dornan was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association All-American first team.
Dornan is a sophomore setter from Fife, Wash.
Dornan finished seventh in the Scenic West Athletic Conference for hitting percentage with .333 and fifth in the SWAC for assists with an average of 6.52 per game.
Dornan was also named to the SWAC All-Region first team and the Region 18 All-Tournament Team following the Region 18A tournament hosted by the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls Nov. 11-12.
The NIC Cardinal volleyball team finished the regular season with a 30-4 record (9-1 in the SWAC) and ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA. The Cardinals lost in the championship round of the Region 18 tournament to the No. 1-ranked College of Southern Idaho.
