NIC softball players, coaches to lead pitching clinic

The North Idaho College softball coaching staff and players will host a softball pitching clinic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8 at Lake City High School in Coeur d’Alene.
The in-depth pitching clinic is open to youths ages 8 to 18. The clinic will cover pitching mechanics, breaking and off speed pitches, how to identify pitching problems and what it takes mentally to be a great pitcher.
Participants must bring their own adult catcher for the clinic.
Cost is $75. There will be a break for lunch between sessions. Enrollment is limited to ensure quality instruction.
