NIC community education Spanish class offered in Sandpoint

There’s still room to enroll in “Introduction to Spanish,” a community education class offered through the North Idaho College Workforce Training Center this spring.
The class will be offered from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays March 27 through May 1 at the NIC Sandpoint Center, located at 101 N. 2nd Ave. in Sandpoint.
Participants will learn Spanish through listening, speaking, writing and reading the language. The class will also cover elements of Hispanic cultures.
The class will be taught by Paola Peirano, who was born and raised in Santiago de Chile. After learning English as a second language, she understands the process of language acquisition and the tools required for language proficiency.
The class fee is $49 and space is limited.
Register online or call (208) 769-3333.
