NIC holds Saturday campus visitation program
Prospective college students are encouraged to visit North Idaho College’s campus and learn more about NIC’s programs and services during the campus visitation program Saturday, April 22.
This is a special weekend event, since the First Friday campus visitation program is typically held on Fridays, intended to allow prospective students and parents that cannot participate in the weekday program to visit campus and learn more about NIC. The Saturday event is also designed for working adults who work during the week, but may be interested in taking an evening or Saturday class.
“The invitation is especially extended to people who live outside of the county who may not be able to visit campus on a Friday,” said NIC Admissions Director Maxine Gish. “It’s also perfect for working adults as well as high school students and parents who can’t break away during the week. We just want everyone to have the opportunity to see this beautiful campus and learn more about what NIC has to offer.”
Visitors will meet in the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room of Edminster Student Union Building on NIC’s main campus at 9 a.m. Participants will learn about NIC’s academic and professional-technical programs and services available to students. Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit with instructors about specific areas of study, ask questions about NIC to a panel of current students and tour NIC’s campus.
