NIC Graphic Design student wins film award

North Idaho College Graphic Design student Nick Burdett of Sandpoint recently won an award in the 2006 Idaho Panhandle Film Festival.
Burdett’s animations “Conserving Water” and “Seahawks Win” were two of three entries in the animation category of the festival and Burdett received a first place award for his environmental animation “Conserving Water.”
The festival was sponsored by Dreamgulch Productions, the Idaho Film Commission and the State Department of Tourism. It was held at the Historic Jameson Hotel April 15 in Wallace.
Burdett is a sophomore at NIC majoring in graphic design.
