Registration now open for summer/fall semester at NIC
Registration for North Idaho College summer and fall classes is now underway.
The course schedule contains various start times and locations for hundreds of courses to meet students’ specific needs for both summer session and fall semester. This year’s summer schedule also offers more convenience with two four-week sessions and an eight-week session as well as a variety of Internet courses.
New students who have been accepted for summer session or fall semester can schedule an appointment with NIC Advising Services at (208) 769-7821 to register for courses. Current students can register for summer session and fall semester courses through NICOnline. Those who are not degree-seeking students, but are just interested in taking classes for fun or enrichment can enroll online.
All students will receive in-state tuition rates for summer classes, regardless of state residency. Summer tuition is $122 for the first credit and $117 for each additional credit or $939 for full-time students. Out-of-state rates will be charged to out-of-state residents for fall and spring semesters.
Payment for summer session classes is due June 12 for those that register after May 5. Payment for fall semester is due Aug. 1 for those who register on or before July 15, or Sept. 15 for those that register after July 15. Students who do not pay by the deadline each semester will be charged a $100 late fee.
Students can now utilize a new payment plan to pay for tuition, fees, and NIC Residence Hall charges for fall and spring semesters. A $50 nonrefundable enrollment fee is required to enroll in the payment plan program, which breaks tuition and fee totals into smaller payments.
