Morgan Purvis, a St. Maries High School graduate now of Rathdrum, was awarded the Sherrell Wheeler Scholarship for $500. She plans to transfer to the University of Idaho to pursue a degree in education.
The scholarships were presented during the 2006 BPA National Leadership Conference last month in Orlando, Fla. Both scholarships were established by the BPA national officers to recognize outstanding members that have exemplified the values of the organization: leadership, service and involvement.
