NIC Outdoor Pursuits plans mountain biking trip to Canada

Adults of any skill level are encouraged to participate in the North Idaho College Outdoor Pursuits overnight mountain biking trip to one of the most renowned mountain biking areas in Canada. Nelson, British Columbia has been featured in many outdoors magazines as an area tailored for mountain biking enthusiasts.
The group will depart for Nelson Saturday, July 8, mountain biking throughout the day and spending the night at the Dancing Bear Inn. Participants will go on a morning ride before returning Sunday, July 9.
Participants must bring proof of citizenship (a passport or birth certificate) and helmets will be required. Those with a driving under the influence conviction are not allowed to cross the Canadian border.
Only adults 18 and older may participate. Mountain bikers of any skill level are welcome.
All participants will be required to attend a pre-trip meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 6 on the NIC Beach.
The cost of the trip is $60 per person, which includes transportation. Space is limited and registration is required by July 6.
