NIC Foundation's Really BIG Raffle drawing to be held July 12
Community members and all ticket holders in the 13
annual North Idaho College Foundation Really BIG Raffle are invited to attend the raffle drawing at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12 in Fort Sherman Park, located behind Edminster Student Union Building on NIC’s main campus.
The event will include the drawing for the $250,000 grand prize house, the first prize $20,000 car, a new second prize $10,000 boat, a third prize $3,500 travel package and fourth prize $2,000 shopping spree or early bird prizes (a digital camera and home theater system).
NIC Carpentry Instructor Dave McRae, who oversaw the construction of the house by students in the NIC carpentry program, will provide live music at the event as a member of the band Side Track.
The event will also include food and beverages available for purchase and drawings for various door prize giveaways, including a door prize from Stock Building Supply of Coeur d’Alene. For the seventh consecutive year, Stock Building Supply sponsored the Really BIG Raffle, providing a $10,000 discount on building materials used in the construction of the house.
Ticket holders need not be present to win the top five prizes or the early bird prizes. Winners who are not present will receive a phone call after the drawing.
Ticket holders must bring the bonus prize ticket stub, which is on the end of each raffle ticket stub, to the event to enter to win one of five $100 cash bonus prizes or a ticket to the 2007 Really BIG Raffle.
Entry for door prizes and the bonus prize begins at 6 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit in during the event.
