NIC falls to Walla Walla Community College 2-1

The Cardinals started strong on Saturday and took a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute on a strike by freshman forward Jared Bork. Sophomore midfielder Dylan Torcoletti set up the goal by picking off a pass and knocked it to Bork who turned from 35 yards out and rifled a shot off the left post and in for the opening goal. The match was extremely physical in the second half with both teams receiving four yellows and one red card each. Walla Walla scored both their goals in the second half.
