NIC graphic design students to exhibit work at Valleyfest Sept. 22-24
The work of North Idaho College graphic design students will be exhibited at the Valleyfest community event Sept. 22-24 at Mirabeau Meadows Park in the Spokane Valley.
On exhibit will be “Literacy,” a collection of visual arts pieces based on a literacy theme created through coursework in a level-three illustration class.
Graphic design students who worked on “Literacy” include Yuliya Yefremova of Coeur d’Alene, Shelley Page of Dalton Gardens, Chad Severtson of Post Falls, Jack Knecht of Princeton, Susie Lam of Coeur d’Alene, Aaron Barton of Coeur d’Alene and Julie Peterson of Hayden.
In addition to the literacy exhibit, other works by NIC graphic design students in class will also be on display at the event.
Krista Brand of Coeur d’Alene will exhibit book and DVD covers. Jesh Barlow of Coeur d’Alene will display a magazine layout and packaging. Jamie Murphy of Post Falls will exhibit a book cover. Sophia Diaz of Coeur d’Alene will exhibit an illustration and packaging. Jessica Herbig of Coeur d’Alene will exhibit an illustration. Matt Brazee of Post Falls will display packaging and a book cover.
