NIC student chosen as Rotary Student of the Month for October

|photo1|North Idaho College student Jodi Cleveland of Athol was selected as October’s Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club Student of the Month.
Cleveland is a sophomore at NIC majoring in medical transcription. She started at NIC part time in 2003, but is now a full-time student, balancing school with four children ages 21, 16, 10 and 7 as well as a three-year-old grandson.
Cleveland is the secretary of NIC’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for two-year colleges. She also tutors other students in contemporary mathematics and medical terminology.
Cleveland maintains a 3.6 GPA and plans to graduate with an associate’s degree in May 2007.
