Recap of men's soccer game vs. Colorado Mountain at home Oct. 14: NIC men win conference title with 4-0 victory

The North Idaho College men's soccer team earned the right to host the Scenic West Athletic Conference championships at NIC's Eisenwinter Field after blanking Colorado Mountain College 4-0.
After a 0-0 standoff at halftime, NIC freshman forward Cody Steele got the Cardinals on the scoreboard two minutes into the second half on an assist from sophomore midfielder Travis Jette. Sophomore defender Paul Terrazas continued the scoring seven minutes later when his corner kick deflected off goalkeeper Mario Linares and into the net. Sophomore midfielder John Prugh and freshman forward Blake Hayashi rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals. NIC is now 9-2-1 on the season.
