NIC women's soccer player earns honors

|photo1|North Idaho College sophomore goalkeeper Makayla Desjarlais recently became the first NIC women’s soccer player to earn National Junior College Athletic Association All-American honors.
Desjarlais, of Post Falls, Idaho, received All-American honorable mention honors this season, while serving as captain of the 10-4-2 Cardinal team.
Desjarlais was also named as the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Year while leading the women’s soccer team to its first league championship during an undefeated league season.
