North Idaho College women’s basketball player Simone Jordan of Portland, Ore., was named as the Scenic West Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week Jan. 24.

Jordan scored 36 points and was 10-26 from the field, adding six three-pointers and seven rebounds.
“Simone is one of the most dynamic players in the league,” said NIC head women’s basketball coach Chris Carlson. “She has the ability to make great basketball plays in so many different ways.”
