NIC coaches and players to lead summer boys' basketball camp


The North Idaho College men’s basketball staff is encouraging area boys to utilize summer break to improve their basketball skills.

The Cardinal Summer Boys Basketball Camp June 18-21 is open to all school-aged boys. Participants will receive instruction from NIC men’s basketball coaches and players, including fundamental basketball skills and individual drills players can practice on their own.

The camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon for boys in fifth grade and below and from 1 to 4 p.m. daily for boys in sixth grade and above in NIC’s Christianson Gym.

Cost is $95 and the registration fee includes a t-shirt and basketball.

Participants can also sign up for one-on-one sessions with NIC men’s basketball staff. The sessions will be held daily from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost for the one-on-one sessions is an additional $80.

Space is limited and the deadline for entry is June 15.
