NIC music department offers ‘band camp' for parents

North Idaho College invites all parents of beginning band students past or present to learn how to play their child’s instrument.
The camp is intended to offer parents the opportunity to learn more about the instruments their children play to allow them to better understand and be able to share in the music experience together.

The camp, which will be led by NIC Director of Bands Terry Jones, will be offered in four sessions from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursdays Sept. 29 and Oct. 6, 13 and 20 in Boswell Hall Room 102 on NIC’s main campus.

The camp is free courtesy of the NIC Music Department.

Parents only are invited to participate in the camp, no children. Registration is not required.
