Working adults needing access to Adult Basic Education/GED services can now access free tutoring Monday evenings at Lake City Community Church. The North Idaho College Adult Basic Education Center will offer individual and group instruction in reading, writing and math.
Tutoring is intended to help adults (16 and older) who have formally withdrawn from school or those who have graduated, but are hoping to upgrade their basic skills. Because many individuals needing access to ABE/GED instruction work during the day, tutoring will be offered every Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the portable “A” building at Lake City Community Church, located at 6000 North Ramsey Road.
All necessary learning materials will be provided for free.
To enroll, call the NIC Adult Education Center at (208) 665-5099.
