NIC marketing department earns district awards

The North Idaho College Communications and Marketing Department recently won several district awards through the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations.

NIC Senior Graphic Designer Heather Butler earned top honors with a gold medallion in the poster category with her design of the poster for the NIC Wind Symphony concert “The British are Coming.”

In addition, the “2011 Summer Alumni Connection” earned a gold medallion in the newsletter category.

The awards were presented at the NCMPR District 7 fall conference Oct. 12-14 in Tacoma, Wash.

NIC Communications and Marketing staff members Stacy Hudson and Heather Butler display the awards earned from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations district conference.
