NIC jazz groups present ‘Close Enough for Jazz' concert

The North Idaho College jazz band and jazz choir will present the “Close Enough for Jazz” concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 in Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center.

The concert will be performed by the NIC Jazz Ensemble directed by NIC Band Director Terry Jones and the NIC Jazz Co. jazz choir directed by NIC Choir Director Max Mendez.

NIC students will perform music by Gordon Goodwin, Fred Strum, John Clayton, Quincy Jones and Vern Sielert, among others.
The concert is free and open to the public.
