NIC students receive machining certification

Three North Idaho College Machine Technology students recently earned the rigorous Mastercam software certification. Logan Lively from Mullan, Beau Jensen from Thompson Falls, Mont., and Stephen McPoland from Post Falls received certifications.

A very small percentage of machinists actually qualify for the computer-aided manufacturing certification with the Mastercam program, according to NIC Machine Technology Instructor Jim Straub.
