North Idaho College will host the Coeur d’Alene INN-vitational Holiday Classic high school basketball tournament Dec. 27-29.
The tournament will feature regional competition between northern Idaho high schools and opponents from the Inland Northwest.
Participants include Lake City High School, Coeur d’Alene High School Lapwai High School and Post Falls High School of Idaho; Federal Way High School, Davis High School, Skyline High School, Prairie High School, Chiawana High School and Foster High School of Washington; and Redmond High School of Oregon.
The opening day Tuesday, Dec. 27 tournament schedule is as follows:9 a.m. Davis vs. Lapwai (girls)10:30 a.m. Chiawana vs. Lake City (boys)Noon Federal Way vs. Post Falls (girls)1:30 p.m. Prairie vs. Post Falls (boys)3 p.m. Redmond vs. Lake City (girls)4:30 p.m. Davis vs. Redmond (boys)6 p.m. Skyline vs. Coeur d’Alene (girls)7:30 p.m. Foster vs. Coeur d’Alene (boys)Game times will be the same for Dec. 28 and 29 and will proceed through a consolation and championship bracket. The championship game for the girls will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 29 followed by the boys championship at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $5 per day for adults and $3 for students. Children 10 and younger will be admitted free. Admission is good all day and no passes will be accepted for tournament admission.
The tournament is sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Inn-Best Western Plus.
