North Idaho College will welcome the Idaho Music Educators Association and the All-State music groups with a presentation of the “Community Jazz” concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19 in Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center.
“Community Jazz” is being held in conjunction with NIC hosting the IMEA All-State Music Conference April 18-21, which will feature performances by the top high school musicians in the state throughout the week. Performed by the NIC Jazz Ensemble, “Community Jazz” will include pieces such as “La Fiesta” arranged by Tony Klatka, “Kurt Mart Suite” arranged by Chris Walden, “God Bless the Child” arranged by Dan Bukvich and other pieces.
The concert is free and open to the public.
